History of SR Hj Tarif

The School is named after a legendary and most responsible man that have helped many people prosper the values of this village...Kampong Tamoi, Tajuddin Hitam, Bendahara Lama and Kg Pekan.

Back then, there were not enough water for the villagers to drink.. so with his spirit and leadership. He managed to bring together all the villagers to make a big well for everyone to drink. It really help lots of generations for a few decades until he passed away.

The villagers decided to name Sekolah Rendah Haji Tarif after his name HAJI TARIF. He will be blessed with DOA from young generations from Sekolh Rendah Haji Tarif every Thursdays. You will be remembered. Al Fatihah..
